Thank you to the Core Group
During Linda’s illness, a core group of people banded together to coordinate all efforts to meet the Almon family’s needs. These people are:

This group took care of any of the family’s immediate needs, made sure the vehicles were running smoothly, coordinated the efforts with ABC during the Extreme Home Makeover nomination process, made sure Linda was cared for at school, helped with physician visits, helped coordinate many of the fundraising efforts for the Linda Almon Cancer Fund, and communicated the needs of the family to others interested in helping. All these things were accomplished by this group in addition to their own work and family responsibilities, and their assistance enabled Candy Man to focus on caring for Linda. The Almon family is very grateful for the efforts of this group.
