Products We Use
Ever wonder what gear we use from day to day? We’ve rounded up some of our favorites right here! Just a heads-up: as an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. If you decide to buy something through these links, we get a small ‘thank you’ commission from Amazon at absolutely zero extra cost to you. It’s a simple way to support the work we do here, and we truly appreciate it.
Let’s talk about something nobody loves but everybody needs — the sewer hose! 😄 The Camco RhinoFLEX 20′ Sewer Hose Kit is one of our favorites and a staple in the RV community. It’s built tough with steel-reinforced polyolefin, collapses down for easy storage, and the clear elbow lets you see exactly when your tank is empty (no guessing!). The 4-in-1 adapter fits most dump station connections, so you’re covered pretty much anywhere you go.
Keeping black and grey tank smells out of the RV is one of our top priorities. Here are some products we use: Happy Campers, Liquified RV Toilet Treatment, and RV Digest-It. These are enzyme based treatment products and they do a good job.
Bulky towels are a luxury most RVers can’t afford the space for. We swear by Turkish towels because they check the two most important boxes for life on the road: they’re ultra-absorbent and remarkably low-profile. They dry lightning-fast and tuck away into the smallest cabinets with ease. Here is the link to our towels by Demmex. We also like these by Gold Case.
Durite Recycled Tire-Link Mat: This isn’t your average flimsy doormat. Made from industrial-grade recycled rubber links and galvanized steel, it’s built to handle heavy foot traffic and the harshest weather. The open-mesh design allows water and debris to fall through, keeping the surface clean and slip-resistant. When it gets dirty, just hose it off—it’s that simple.
If you’re still using heavy ceramic dishes in your RV, it might be time for an upgrade! 🍽️ We love the Corelle Vitrelle 18-Piece Square Dinnerware Set — and it’s honestly one of the best swaps you can make for RV life. Corelle’s patented triple-layer glass is made in the USA and offers unrivaled strength while staying super lightweight — and because the pieces stack compactly and take up about half the space of ceramic dishes, they’re a dream for small RV cabinets. The non-porous glass resists food odors and sticking, so cleanup is a breeze too.
When you’re living full-time in your RV, every bit of gear has to earn its place — and this bike tent does. We used the PROLEE 6.6FT Bike Shed to keep our bikes protected no matter where we’re parked. It fits 2–3 bikes comfortably, sets up quick, and packs down small enough to store without taking up precious space. The waterproof Oxford fabric and UV coating hold up well against rain, sun, and everything in between. It even comes with a spare pole, which we appreciate — things happen on the road. If you’re living in an RV or just need a reliable, portable bike shelter, this is a solid pick.
A good outdoor rug is a must when you’re RVing, and this one checks all the boxes. We have used this 9×18 rug for the past year, and it is holding up great. It’s waterproof and stain resistant, so dirt and rain don’t bother it — just spray it off with a hose and let it air dry. The reversible design gives you two looks in one, which is a nice bonus. It’s also super lightweight and folds down compact, so it stores easily without eating up space in the rig. The corner loops let you stake it down so it won’t blow away on windy days.
Speaking of stakes, these are the ones we have on hand.
Our Secret to a Mold-Free RV: Humidity builds up fast in an RV, and mold can take hold before you even see it. We love this dehumidifier because it’s quiet, fits perfectly in the corner, and keeps our humidity levels in the ‘safe zone’ regardless of the weather outside.
