Bulky towels are a luxury most motorhomes can’t afford. We swear by Turkish towels because they check the two most important boxes for life on the road: they’re ultra-absorbent and remarkably low-profile. They dry lightning-fast and tuck away into the smallest cabinets with ease. Here is the link to our towels by Demmex. We also like these by Gold Case.
Durite Recycled Tire-Link Mat: This isn’t your average flimsy doormat. Made from industrial-grade recycled rubber links and galvanized steel, it’s built to handle heavy foot traffic and the harshest weather. The open-mesh design allows water and debris to fall through, keeping the surface clean and slip-resistant. When it gets dirty, just hose it off—it’s that simple.
When you’re living full-time in your motorhome, every bit of gear has to earn its place — and this bike tent does. We used the PROLEE 6.6FT Bike Shed to keep our bikes protected no matter where we’re parked. It fits 2–3 bikes comfortably, sets up quick, and packs down small enough to store without taking up precious space. The waterproof Oxford fabric and UV coating hold up well against rain, sun, and everything in between. It even comes with a spare pole, which we appreciate — things happen on the road. If you’re living in an RV or just need a reliable, portable bike shelter, this is a solid pick.
A good outdoor rug is a must when you’re RVing, and this one checks all the boxes. We have used this 9×18 rug for the past year, and it is holding up great. It’s waterproof and stain resistant, so dirt and rain don’t bother it — just spray it off with a hose and let it air dry. The reversible design gives you two looks in one, which is a nice bonus. It’s also super lightweight and folds down compact, so it stores easily without eating up space in the rig. The corner loops let you stake it down so it won’t blow away on windy days.
Speaking of stakes, these are the ones we have on hand.
Our Secret to a Mold-Free RV: Humidity builds up fast in a motorhome, and mold can take hold before you even see it. We love this dehumidifier because it’s quiet, fits perfectly in the corner, and keeps our humidity levels in the ‘safe zone’ regardless of the weather outside.
